About Mod Panic
Mod Panic is a Texas-born design shop for things that are a little weird, a little nostalgic, and a lot more fun than they need to be.
We make art and everyday goods inspired by the stuff we love: vintage roadside signs, old souvenir shops, Texas landscapes, questionable humor, cats with attitudes, local oddities, wildflowers, western kitsch, and the kind of things you didn’t know you needed until you saw them.
A lot of what we make starts as original artwork and eventually finds its way onto stickers, magnets, coasters, towels, home goods, gifts, and whatever else we decide would be more interesting with art on it.
Made Here. Not Made Boring.
Mod Panic grew out of years of designing products and an inability to leave a perfectly ordinary object alone.
We design and produce more and more of our work ourselves in Texas, which means we get to experiment constantly—new materials, new products, short runs, strange ideas, and designs that might never survive a corporate product meeting.
That’s kind of the point.
Some things are unapologetically Texas. Some are made for a particular town, trip, animal, inside joke, or person. Others exist simply because they made us laugh.
Texas Goods for Modern Weirdos
We love the old Texas souvenir aesthetic, but we’re not interested in reproducing the same designs that have been hanging in gift shops for the last fifty years.
Mod Panic takes inspiration from vintage travel art, folk art, western graphics, roadside Americana, mid-century design, nature, regional history, and the wonderfully bizarre personality of Texas—and then gives it our own spin.
The result is part souvenir shop, part design studio, part roadside oddity.
And we’re only getting started.
Designed in Texas. Made with questionable restraint.
